What computer specifications does Bulk Flow Analyst require?
Bulk Flow Analyst does not have specific requirements for hardware. The program will run with any computer with the main consideration for how fast simulations will run. Overland Conveyor Company recommends getting the best hardware you can afford or run the simulations on the DEMcloud which is always updated to the latest technology. You as the user can control how many surfaces or particles are in the simulations. Therefore, you can adjust how long simulations run regardless of the hardware you are using.
Does Bulk Flow Analyst have GPU capabilities?
Graphics processing units (GPUs) are not currently used by Bulk Flow Analyst.
How much storage is necessary to keep a history of the output files?
The more the better! Bulk Flow Analyst can create large output files depending on how you set up the simulations. The output files will be larger with more particles, surfaces, and snapshot frequency to create higher resolution videos. So while you as the user can control how large the output files are based on the simulation details, it is best to have as much storage capabilities as possible if you plan on storing past projects.
