My simulation crashed, what do I do?

There are a few things to check.

If your model crashed right away, the first thing to check is your geometry.  If there are any triangles that are really, really long and thin, these are likely the culprits.  Highight a component in the component list, and "Show Components" to view how the model is tessellated.  The tessellation algorithm may not divide faces effectively for the model.  In these situations, it may be necessary to split the faces in your CAD system prior to import, or deselecting a long and thin face that may not divide well.

If this does not seem to be the case, send your project file and model to the support staff.

If the model crashed several seconds into the simulation, it might be that part of your model has moved outside of the system boundaries.  This will only happen if you have defined motion in one of your Boundary components.  This will be hard to debug on the part of the user, since the system boundaries are defined by the software and typically include Boundary motion.  Please send your model and project file to the support staff.
